News consequences of smoking: tumors of the colon, rectum and ovary

International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), which depends on the World Health Organization has commissioned a team of scientists to conduct a comprehensive study on several carcinogenic substances related to personal habits and household exposures.

The results are sad and surprising: in addition to all previously known cancer and smoking-related, smoking also causes malignant tumors of the colon, rectum and ovary.

These cancers are added to a list yet already complete: cancers of the oral cavity, esophagus, lung, larynx, oropharynx, nasopharynx, hypopharynx, stomach , liver, pancreas, nasal cavity, paranasal sinuses, cervix uteri, bladder, kidney, ureter and bone marrow. Such are the consequences cigarette .

Furthermore, parental smoking can cause breast cancer in children. It actually said what the group of 30 specialists from 10 different countries.

However, we must believe that nothing will frighten smokers. Although smoking is the leading cause of cancer in the world , more than one billion people smoke today.
