A new study has uncovered a direct link between the exposure to Bisphenol and premature ejaculation. The research involved over 600 factory workers from China. They are responsible for the production of items such as baby bottles and plastic containers, both of which contain BPH. The chemical has been attributed to a number of health conditions since the 1930s.
The findings appear to indicate that subjects who were exposed to BPH, were 7 times more likely to suffer with the condition. It is first specific study involving humans, although previous research with animals proved that the chemical has a detrimental effect on the sexual functioning of rodents.
The study was the first of its kind, although previous research involving animals have proven that BPA has a negative effect on the reproductive system in rodents. The clinical trials ran for 5 years and have been published in the Human Production Journal. Experts were able to identify a correlation between workers who were exposed to BHP and the instance of cases involving premature ejaculation.
"Because the BPA levels in this study were very high, more research needs to be done to see how low a level of BPA exposure may have effects on our reproductive system," said lead author De-Kun Li, from Kaiser Permanente's Division of Research.
Premature ejaculation commonly affects a large proportion of the male population. Whilst sufferers are strongly advised to seek the help of a trained health care provider, Priligy dapoxetine is the first oral medication to been officially approved for the treatment of premature ejaculation. The product is manufactured by Alza Corporation. |
