The Belfast Telegraph reports that women who love to flaunt their high heels might actually be doing helping boost their sex lives, suggesting that wearing fancy footwear can deliver a similar sensation to sexual climax.

According to the evening daily from Northern Ireland, Paris-based luxury footwear designer Christian Louboutin has claimed that high heels can give women orgasmic sensations by virtue of their shape that is not dissimilar to pleasure during intimacy with a partner.

Experts have generally shared positive opinions regarding the claim made by Christian Louboutin. Maria Barber of Ireland’s famous Rockin’ Reptile says high heels are known to boost sexual desire in men and could be just as helpful for women also. She doesn’t however, make any conclusive remark on the possibility of high heel footwear relieving any symptoms of female sexual dysfunction.

Notable Italian urologist Dr Maria Cerruto speaks from experience telling that of a survey of 66 women under 50 years of age, wearing high heels can directly tap the pelvic floor muscles or the ‘pleasure muscles’ that are known to enhance orgasmic satisfaction. She sounds optimistic about the positive impact of high heels on female orgasm, indicating that wearing them on a regular basis might be a useful alternative to pelvic floor exercises.

It may be noted that female sexual health experts from all around the world have taken a dig at the mystery of female orgasm from time to time. One might hope that it is a matter of time before more substantial findings are linked to most intense moment of sexual pleasure for women.
