
If you make a habit out of late night fridge excavations, things could come to a stop fairly sharply with a new technological device made specifically for keeping an eye on diet cheaters. An innovative smartphone app – designed to guilt-trip users into giving up late-night refrigerator raids - is expected to hit the market later this year.
The app, dubbed Virtual Fridge Lock, will report any misbehavior in the kitchen department to your friends on social networking sites. It gets wind of your actions via a magnetic device fitted to the side of the fridge and notifies it to your connections on social media platforms, including Facebook and Twitter.
