Ryan Giggs seeks baldness treatment

Ryan Giggs seeks baldness treatment

Although Manchester United and Wales legend Ryan Giggs is hardly thin on the ground for goals, it would seem the midfielder has decided it is time to do something about his thinning locks. Giggs, who joined United as a schoolboy and has made a record 588 appearances over a period of 20 years was seen leaving a hair loss clinic gripping a photograph of his new and improved barnet.

Beaming with pride, the Dad-of-two certainly looked pleased with the results. Despite a fuller head of hair, Ryan is rumoured to have spent a pretty penny on the treatment, forking out an estimated £6,000 on a course of treatment at a hair studio in Manchester where he is reported to have spending 40 minutes a week under a laser which is designed to promote hair regrowth.

Results

Having been worried for his thinning thatch for some years, Ryan took decisive action. After having been prescribed a series of lotions and shampoos employees at the salon believe he has now benefited from some excellent results.

A celebrity pattern – hair loss

Whether we look back a decade or so at the then ground breaking procedures underwent by Elton John or the more recent hair transplant received by ex cricket legend Shane Warne, the pattern is the same and we aren’t referring to the type of hair loss. Male pattern baldness can affect self esteem and there are a number of ways to counter it. Aside from the extortionately priced operations that celebrities have available to them, there are proven treatments, one of which is Propecia, an advanced hair loss treatment designed to stem the production of DHT; a hormone responsible for attacking the follicles. The drug has seen a great deal of success, helping millions of men across the UK, Europe and the US.
