In a letter to the Sun, a 36-year-old man says he’s been suffering from premature ejaculation because he and his wife “only have quickies” and not passionate, long-lasting sex.
The Deidre sexual health advice column of the Sun publishes a letter on Tuesday, Oct 11, revealing a new risk factor for premature ejaculation. Lack of sexual response from a female partner can make it difficult for a man to last longer in bed, the British tabloid says.
The man, now seeking expert advice, says his sex life has dwindled to nothing over the past couple of years as his wife has lost interest in making out the way the couple used to do immediately after their marriage. The birth of their only child, the distressed man says, may be why his partner is giving the cold shoulder to his sexual advances.
The habit of hasty masturbation during adolescence is a known risk factor for premature ejaculation, and having short sessions of sex can be likened to this habit.
The Deidre asks the man to be a bit considerate about the multiple roles his wife is playing – juggling responsibilities of a new mum and a worker and also trying to be a part of a physically fulfilling conjugal relationship. It is only with a pinch of compromise and mutual respect for each other’s role in the family that the sexual problems can be fixed, advises the agony aunt column of the British daily.

I was thinking somewhere along the lines that maybe the unresponsive partner wasn't as much of a big deal as the actual performance was. That is, I thought the performance which was subpar was actually causing an unresponsive partner. Maybe its different in each relationship for all I know. I found a guy who did reviews and he says something similar to the both of us. He wrote for http://www.prematureejaculationreview.com and thats how I found this site through what he said.
