A criminal gang that plied male prostitutes with Viagra has been dismantled.
The victims were taken from South America into Spain, on the promise of modelling and dancing jobs. Upon arriving in Spain, they were forced to work in brothels and given death threats to prevent them leaving. They were forced to have sex multiple times a day and were given Viagra, cocaine and other stimulants by the gang, in order to keep them available for sex 24 hours per day. In total 60 to 80 men were taken from Spain. Authorities have now arrested 14 men.
Ana Palacio, former French foreign minister, said: “We have to continue fighting against these networks because there is a terrible human rights dimension to their activities and this does require better police coordination.”
Viagra is frequently part of criminal activities. Counterfeiters make huge amounts of money selling fake Viagra. Viagra email scams are still more common than any other type of spam on the internet.
An impotence cure?
Viagra is not a permanent cure for impotence. However, it does offer a reliable treatment for impotence. An impotence cure has not yet been discovered. With 1 in 2 men suffering erectile dysfunction, such a cure would surely make billions of pounds, were scientists to invent it.
Viagra takes effect about 1 hour after being consumed. By increasing blood flow to the penis, Viagra makes it easier for men to have an erection. The drug is intended for men with erectile dysfunction. But it is sometimes used (riskily) for recreational purposes, and to make sex last longer. Such usage of Viagra is not recommended by doctors. Unless Viagra is prescribed, the drug may interact badly with the individual taking it, especially if they have any ongoing health conditions.
